Maar Hats

Maar Hats is a creative project about headpieces for contemporary women. Their priorities are shapes and their development. They approach the creative process and carefully consider the craftsmanship, developing and refining each model to obtain basic, timeless pieces. They work from their studio in Northern Spain, where designed are conceived, coordinated and produced. They manufacture locally, on a small scale, because in addition to the development of shapes, they consider the social impact. They pay special attention to each piece, and to all the materials involved in the process. They are inspired by everyday life, without losing sight of beauty. Their background is art, and they seek to build hats that go beyond the immediacy of fashion.
